I would definitely contact the manufacturer, they ought to be able to get you a proper copy if such a thing exists and copies are available.  Hopefully they won't worry about the receipt / original ownership, as long as you supply the bum copy.

A friend of mine once bought a copy of REM's "Out Of Time" (when it was released); the packaging and disc printing were as expected, but the disc contained a totally different album (country music?  I don't remember).

Don't know what he did with it, though.

It makes you wonder how many people had the same surprise.
