On a vaguely related note, you can see my video editing debut (no
sniggering at my efforts please Justin!) at

depicted is one my Surf Club have been running annually since the
1940's.  It's about 7 or 8 kilometres all up, mostly in soft sand.  And
of course, I had to use an Oily soundtrack!!
