Hybrid cars are great.  As an engineer I appreciate the technology, and I 
hope to have one for my next car.  Toyota is really ahead in this; the new 
Prius is a technology marvel.  50 mpg hwy, 60 mpg city IIRC.  (sorry no SI 
units).  It makes the 18/21 mpg of my new Subaru look SUV bad.  Congrats on 
the purchase.
