[Powderworks] The future isn't what it used to be...

Been reading the threads on the band.

Jim, Rob, Bones, Martin, - Get together and write some music! - Your public
is waiting!
Maybe I should not be that impatient, but all the discussions about the
future will have a small answer when the boys get together and play with
some instrument - I am loooking foreward to it..

As to the past - Let face it, Peter Garret has been a busy man. If he has to
cut back on one thing, it might be best for him if he cuts back on music.
The problems is that what is best for him sucks for the rest of us - In
Particular US folks outside of Oz. It also sucks for the rst of the band
mambers - Pete did help make MO recognizeable, and made the live shows
electrifying. He helped make them the success they were. Imagine you are in
a job, and have a very successful collaboration with a co-worker, and that
collaboration gives you your money, your status, and success in the company.
How would you feel if the Co-worker quit?. I might understand the reason for
quitting and even agree with them, but I still would feel a bit
dissapointed. Even if my contribution to the collaboration was the greater.
In time I would have to find a new collaborator and just do things the best
I can - Who knows, the future might be better, worse, or just different.

My 2 cents, and if it's not worth it, I can give you change back...
