Return to Sender is notable not just for Pete's vocals but for the rather
wonderful interplay of vocal texture and pitch and style that comes from
Bones and Pete mixing it up on the tracks. Pete growls, Bones purrs as
only he can and the resulting mix is powerful. That rather sensual
juxtaposition makes the song multidimensional and gives it a human life to
balance its cooler technologic instrumental qualities.
