So every time I listen to "Stand in Line" I can't help but think that 
Peter used a famous exclamation long before Homer Simpson.

Lyrics:
Said it's a pity 'bout the middle class Holden mass
We get a bit to play around with that doesn't really matter
They kid us with their dole, kid us with their D'oh!
But generally speaking, nobody's got a hope.

I know, I know the lyric is "dope" but I think the modern post-Simpsons 
lyric works quite nicely in the song, enhances the meaning.
