We'll be doing "Blackfella/Whitefella" but with different lyrics. Oct =
13 is the Sunday that the UUA (Unitarian Universalist Association) has =
set aside for fund and consciousness raising for our various programs =
for people between the ages of 18-35--outreach, campus ministry and the =
like.
Since my congregation is greying and in Little Rock, Arkansas (;-D), its =
membership is a little skeptical of the whole thing...so our version of =
Blackfella will be about action and cooperation between the generations =
rather than between the races. Hey, what's more persuasive than =
Midnight Oil?=20
The other songs scheduled for the service are "Elderly Woman Behind the =
Counter In a Small Town" by Pearl Jam and "I Don't Wanna Wait" by Paula =
Cole.

What song are you planning to do?
=20
I ask because I am a UU too, and have used several of their works in =
social justice related services a few years back. =20
Bushfire is an incredible earth prayer too.

know how that turns out!
