Oh yeah, his "claim to fame" is his book "the Skeptical Environmentalist", 
wherin he supposedly "facts and reasons" away most of the claims of the 
environmental movement in a "scientific" fashion by redefining and 
delimiting "scientific" to mean "reducing the scope of facts and data until 
they support only the presumptions of the big money sugar daddies and 
government policy fatcats I wanna impress with this".  His "reformed green" 
behavior is by far the most annoying piece of the whole story.

A better title would have been "the genuflected environmentalist - a rear 
view".
