I never thought of the songs as verse/chorus/verse
etc... I tend to deconstruct a song in terms of
instrumental bits and singing. The really emotive parts
of most songs for me are instrumental, usually guitar
parts. Like the little guitar break/groove in Too Much
Sunshine; that's the best part of the song in my
opinion, at least as far as getting a little neuro-rush
to the back of the bean. And the G to Dm guitar groove
in Truganini practically gets my teeth chattering like
an old meth freak. If they do it like that tomorrow
night, I'm honestly afraid of shitting my pants. :o

Seriously, I think if I could ask the Oils to do
more of a particular thing, it would be to groove those
moments out and run with 'em, even on their studio
work. Of course other fans will say that's boring, and
that's what concerts are for, and what makes the Oils
great is their ability to restrain themselves and work
the art of subtlety, leaving us panting for more. And
they're right too. Anyway, sorry for the long answer to
a short question. Actually I DO like the choruses too.
 :)

breathe, groove, energize
