Forgotten Years
There very well mayhave been a couple more songs during the encore, but my memory fails me now!

As for the openers, Will Hoge was decent, nothing spectacular, songs are kinda generic as were his rock star poses...but he has a personality.
John Eddie was amazing! Talk about a veteran of the road, this guy's been plugging away since his "bi break" in 1986....great showman, hilarious song about being 40, as well as another funny one called "Play some Skynyrd" about drunks at bars. Also did a KILLER cover of I Want You Back by the Jackson 5, all slowed down ballad style with just acoustic guitar. REALLY REALLY good show from this guy!
I noticed during the John Eddie set that Will Hoge was watching from the wings...had the feeling that he was seeing his future flash in front of his eyes!

Back to the Oils though...really good show...little loose in places...my shirt was recognized again by Rob, Peter and Bones for sure...Rob tossed me a stick and I snagged a 2nd one as well, so I now have a set and my buddy got the other one. (I got one in November as well) Tin Legs was a cool to see live.
Good crowd, not too rowdy and not a lot of stupid requests...lots of familiar faces from November!

Will post a review of tonight's show tomorrow sometime!

Geoffrey
