I had taken Luritja Way to mean the customs of the desert people - one line
says" there's no highway to Luritja Way" = it's not easy to understand

I have been assuming that this refers to the old saying about knowing
someone or something "like the back of your hand". Therefore, I have
been interpreting it to mean Capricornia (the land), let me know and
understand everything about you. I could be well off the mark. Like Jane
I don't like analysing lyrics too much but I do like to understand the
basic message in them.
As far as what "Luritja Way" is, I have no idea but have assumed it was
an Aboriginal settlement.
Anyhow, love Capricornia the album. Not enough free hours in the day
to play it as often as I would like.

p.s. Thanks to Matt and Todd for what I found to be an intelligent and
stimulating debate. Living in Sydney I keep tabs on what is going on
in the US via Fox News (fair and balanced????) and CNN but it is far
more interesting hearing 2 passionate and opposite views from two
thoughtful individuals.
