That is exactly why the US Congressional Investigative Branch has =
recently sued the White House, in order to know all the details about =
the so called Energy Task Force that Vice President Cheney is attempting =
to keep under lock and key, saying "it is none of the public's =
business." What is the reason? Because Kenneth Lay, CEO of ENRON!, spent =
many a night in the White House ( the Lincoln bedroom) the first year =
Bush was in office, these were old Oil buddy cozy sleep overs during =
which time Kenneth Lay was advising the energy task force panel's new =
energy regulations for the United States!=20
For those of you who have been living in a cave (no not Osama) silly, =
this ENRON/Lay, is the very same company/ceo that swindled thousands of =
it's own employees into keeping their stocks while the company was =
knowingly going bankrupt, These employees are now without jobs, and for =
many their life savings. The CEOs of ENRON of course cashed out their =
shares worth billions of dollars months before the collapse because they =
knew what was coming. "So what", you say, "companies swindle and people =
loose out all the time". True, but this was thousands of people! But if =
thousands of honest people with families suddenly destitute at the hands =
of corporate thieves isn't quite enough to make you steam consider this =
fact. ENRON along with many other energy/oil Barons funded a large =
portion of the Bush campaign for Governor of Texas and sequentially =
Bush's campaign for President. They ENRON/Kenneth Lay, also let Bush use =
the ENRON company plane for campaign stops. This very same company =
hasn't paid it's taxes in years and was also behind the California =
energy outages and shortages last year, ( the fundamental scapegoat =
being used as impetus to drill in the ANWR - Alaska National Wildlife =
Refuge btw).=20
This is all very involved yes, and quite a vile way of doing business! =
To put this into global perspective, the Kyoto treaty that Bush has =
decided to pull the US out of would negatively effect the very same =
companies that paved the way for George W Bush's stumble into the White =
House! So if you think this doesn't effect you because you don't live in =
the US of A..think again! Plus the former ( as of just months before the =
election that put him into office ) board member of Haliburton Oil, Vice =
President Dick Cheney, has been working on oil interests building a =
pipeline that just happens to be in a Taliban controlled area of =
Pakistan. HMMM... But lets not get into that.
