I've caught WXPN, which produces the World Cafe, playing Golden Age a =
couple of times. So it would make sense that this would be right. =
They're 88.5 FM in Philadelphia. The station is public radio, so the =
show may be available elsewhere.
Here's the station's website: http://www.xpn.org/
This page says "Sorry, no upcoming performances scheduled with Midnight =
Oil." I sure hope this is just outdated.
http://xpn.org/barista.mv?routine=3Ddisplaypage&artistname=3DMidnight+Oil=
This page lists upcoming shows on the World Cafe, but only up to March =
8th, so no Oils listing. : http://xpn.org/sites/wc/up.mv
Here's the World Cafe's homepage. There's a search engine for affiliate =
stations and web-broadcasts. : http://xpn.org/sites/wc/index.mv
Thank God for Google search, eh!

A little footwork finds that apparently the World Cafe is (and I =
quote):
"a cutting-edge, two-hour program of alternative contemporary music =
for adults. It offers a broad range of innovative sounds drawn from =
contemporary American as well as international music. Host David Dye =
presents music that is familiar but also showcases works by new and =
emerging artists - music that is very new and very exciting."
Sounds as if this is the World Cafe they're talking about. Not sure, =
but sounds reasonable to me. Website (http://www.worldcafe.org/) says =
they are based in Philly, which would be reasonable the time schedule =
that has been presented as well.
Take care all,
Pete

Hi All -=20
Even stranger yet, the Oil site lists dates for March and on the =
25th it lists an 11am show at "World Cafe" and a 3pm Letterman in NYC. =
I searched "Pollstar" for venues named "World Cafe" and it only lists =
one... in Honolulu Hawaii. =20
Can anyone shed some light on this one?=20
Thanks!=20
