Boston area guy named Jim Infantino is one of the best.  With his band, 
Jim's Big Ego, he was and is a pioneer in internet indy distribution.  This 
made him the darling of National Public Radio, which played the living 
whathaveyou out of his zany Y2K song a couple of years ago.
