Has anyone in Canada found Capricornia in stores yet? If so, where? I 
went to HMV, and they didn't have it (the guy at the counter had a 
"Midnight Who?" look on his face when I asked him, and suggested 
maybe a domestic version would be released later). Any other major 
chains that might carry it?


I was in Vancouver this week and asked about Capricornia at Virgin 
Megastore (funnily enough, while I was in line I heard the clerk on 
the phone answering a Midnight Oil query, the same one as mine as it 
turned out) Anyway, he said that there's no Canadian distributor yet 
and that they might get a few imports in for the hard core fans, but 
a proper Canadian release probably won't happen till late March/April.

On a brighter note I picked up a few secondhand Oils records, having 
only the CDs I was taken with the great packaging especially the 
design of the inner sleeves and labels! I was particularly intrigued 
how the Diesel & Dust "splatter" writing actually appeared much 
earlier, on the label of Bird Noises!
