I'm still in total shock and disbelief about this although i had a bad 
feeling in my gut about it ever since they cancelled the european tour.  
Well I guess we can still be glad to think back on the shows we've gone to 
and the great number of CD's that we still can listen to.  I think i will 
feel better if i just play Midnight Oil on my guitar all day...well not 
totally better, but it will help me maybe a little...but i still want to cry 
:(

I guess no band can go on forever.  Although we might want it to last 
forever, there comes a point when it has to end.  I just keep thinking that 
Pete is about the same age as my dad so in that viewpoint i have a lot of 
respect for his decision...he has a family and there comes a point that you 
can't do everything.  Sometimes the body can no longer keep up with the 
mind.

I guess most of all, this is bringing back a lot of great memories of things 
that I link to Midnight Oil.  It was a great run and I'm thankful to have 
had such a great musical influence in my life.
