The Backsliders (Rob's second side project, after Ghostwriters, if anyone
here is a newbie) are launching their new CD today in Oz and according to the
band's site, there's a live webcast taking place this Sunday at 9:30 PM EST
-- if I have figured out time differentials accurately.
Here's the info:
They've been called the "hardcore heroes of the honky-tonk", and they're back
to tour Australia with a new album release, Hanoi - a hybrid of southern
blues, Australian and Asian sounds. Backsliders are playing at The Basement
Nightclub this Thursday, but if you can't make it, tune in online and watch
Dom Turner, Jim Conway and Rob Hirst perform live in the studios of The
Basement radio station from 11:30am Monday.
The .url is www.basement.com.au. I still have not found confirmation on this
website about the webcast...but will keep checking back.
Cheers, y'all.
