Gotcha, Geordie mon, and thanks ... I didn't mean to
make anything huge or personal out of this wee thread.
And we have surely been relatively starved of live
Oils. But I must say that we have our share of Oils
fans up here who don't have to see to believe.
("Blessed are those who believe yet have not seen" ;)
And I'd still be a supporter of what the Oils do even
if they came on a stunk the place out - how likely is
that though, eh!!

It MIGHT, to a 44 or 45 year old :) How else could a
Canadian guy know where to look for help with lyrics
like "Bob Dyer glued us to our seats, lawns were always
Victor neat... I'm sure you remember" ? The Oils can
sing about it presumably because they lived through it.
My 17 year old might sing along, but would remain
(blissfully) clueless. ~not that there's anything wrong
with that~

Right again. And everything involved in calling forth
the above, IMHO. Thanks for your responses, Geordie and
all.

cheers,

bruce
