I may have missed the answer to this with the other stuff but I think
someone was asking what this was. It's a classic Australian novel by Xavier
Herbert about Australia with particular reference to the indigenous
population (I think, I've never read it, my olds own a copy & I've never
got around to reading it). The name is a pseudonym for Australia in that
sense.
