<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>> Okay, a few things have been bothering me over the past day or so,
<DIV></DIV>>and was wondering what other people thought:
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>1. If you go to more than 2 shows, does that make you a groupie? My boss
<DIV></DIV>>accused me of that. I said I'm just a rabid fan. Takers?
<DIV></DIV>
<P>> ***I saw Oils 4 times - once this year, 3 times before...I just love their music (not a groupie!) I saw Steppenwolf more than 200 times since 1982 (still not a groupie, but a friend). After seeing Oils again, I would see them more than 200 times if they came around more often, or even better - see them in Oz (my lifetime dream) if I could afford it (hope very soon!)</P>
<DIV></DIV>>2. If you have the chance to go to a whole bunch of shows (re: Indi) does
<DIV></DIV>>that make you selfish? Greedy? Or just musically motivated? I don't think
<DIV></DIV>>so as it's a sort of fix that you can only get every half dozen years here
<DIV></DIV>>in North America. My wife says I'm greedy, and I may not get Christmas this
<DIV></DIV>
<P>>year if I go see any more shows. =( </P>
<P>***Selfish? No! Lucky? Absolutely! Right on! Midnight Oil or Steppenwolf for Christmas, hmmmmmm that's an idea! What a lovely gift would that be (head on to the show or CD shop?) My hubby said I buy too many CDs (beats shoes and clothes - right?) I almost got fired from my old job (eventually I quit myself) because I've spent 2 weeks on Steppenwolf tour, and came back from Sturgis biker rally straight to work. My boss hated my looks (hehehe).</P>
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>3. Does going to see the Oils take priority over work? Sleep? That one is
<DIV></DIV>
<P>>just for fun.... </P>
<P>***It sure does....Please refer to the two last sentences line #2. If you love Oils (and oh I do) work and sleep are not all that important....could be always done later......</P>
<P>Rock On!</P>
<P>Lina</P>
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>later!
