Garrett - let's get a few things straight...
<br>
<blockquote TYPE=CITE> <font face="Arial"><font size=-1>Okay,
a few things have been bothering me over the past day or so, and was wondering
what other people thought:</font></font>
<p><font face="Arial"><font size=-1>1. If you go to more than 2 shows,
does that make you a groupie? My boss accused me of that. I
said I'm just a rabid fan. Takers?</font></font></blockquote>
Your boss is a fstick! He has no idea. Does he not realize
the entity to which he refers? (all bow now)...
<br>My friend, you are not a rabid fan, you are someone who reacts sensibly
to an opportunity of such splendiforous magnitude. You are to be
congratulated for making some effort and not sitting on your arse "when
the Oils came to town..."
<blockquote TYPE=CITE><font face="Arial"><font size=-1></font></font>
<p><font face="Arial"><font size=-1>2. If you have the chance to
go to a whole bunch of shows (re: Indi) does that make you selfish?
Greedy? Or just musically motivated? I don't think so as it's
a sort of fix that you can only get every half dozen years here in North
America. My wife says I'm greedy, and I may not get Christmas this
year if I go see any more shows. =(</font></font></blockquote>
yes, you're greedy - she'll have to deal with it. and xmas can go
to damnation - the commercial part of it anyway. observe christmas,
but ditch the presents and you'll all do one another a favour...
<blockquote TYPE=CITE><font face="Arial"><font size=-1></font></font>
<p><font face="Arial"><font size=-1>3. Does going to see the Oils
take priority over work? Sleep? That one is just for fun....</font></font></blockquote>
hellooooo???????? why are you asking that question?
<p>Oils rock! Listening to Jim (repeatedly) in the MMM birthday show
from last year on No Time For Games, there is NO-ONE better on the face
of the planet. The things Jim and Martin can do - gawd, if they ever
stop before I shuffle off the mortal coil I'll be spewin' (I hope
they live to 140, and still play like that)....
