Speaking of which; does anybody know the name of the band that opened in
Toronto? I'm tres curious. They exceeded my expectations.

The paper-plane slinger was apparently Brian Go, a good friend of mine from
high school. His attempt to get the band to play some older favourites. I
was asking him the day before on the phone, when he predicted a drought of
pre-Diesel material, if he was going to hold up a placard; looks like he got
a little more creative. Anyway I'm very happy they played Short Memory,
Hercules, and Read About It in Toronto. That was sweet compared to past
shows. (Tabarnac! I wish I could have gone to the Montreal show too - it
sounds like you guys had loads of fun. I'll have to start planning for the
next time the Oils come around... :-)
