the show last night in milwaukee was my first concert in a long time.  i 
was surprised by how muddy the sound was (this was at the eagle ballroom at 
the rave).  for me this really affected the experience -- i found it 
difficult to pick out some of the melodies.  i would like some comments 
from others who went to the show.  specifically, can someone compare the 
sound to that at the HOB shows in chicago?  this will help me to decide 
where to see them next time.

speaking of which, is there any word on whether they are sticking with the 
same venue size for next year's tour?  i hope so.  though the hall 
acoustics were bad, the visual experience of watching peter twitch his way 
across the stage was as fascinating as when i first saw them play at the 
cabaret metro in the late 80's.  before the show i had no idea what 
midnight oil looked like (i had just purchased the d&d cd).  imagine my 
shock when PG showed up 8 ft away and gave me the show of a life time.
