To follow up on Dan's setlists, here's a list of the special treats from
Monday (10/22) night's set at the Chicago HoB (as far as i can remember):
sporadically played songs: Put Down that Weapon, Now or Never Land
new songs: Capricornia, Luritja Way, Under the Overpass, Golden Age, and a
slow soft one i didn't recognize
and in the encore: Best of Both Worlds, with the show closing with
Hercules (thusfar i had only seen them close with Read About It
also, before Truganini, Peter mumbled something about this being the House
of BLUES and so they were going to play an Australian BLUES song, which he
began on his harmonica and then sang in his best gospel blues impression.
the rest of the band slowly joined in, particularly stunning was Jim with
a very old-time Mississippi bluesy guitar riff. quite entertaining
indeed.
song played often on the tour that we missed: Power and the Passion
song played the night before that the crowd was most wanting to hear
again but didn't get: Warakurna
see you all tonight in milwaukee,
