Sydney:thanks for the promising post! I'll probably acquire the PAL disc if 
for no other reason to have the possession and maybe I, too can get lucky. I 
won't be buying a new dvd player though. Also a kind powderworker(whose name 
i'll not disclose at present) has the capability of recording the dvd onto a 
vhs video tape for me.  when I get it in hand i would be willing to make 
copies for other list members who would be interested in a vhs copy of the 
20,000 watt r.s.l.
