<P>Ah, nostalgia! The first time I saw the Oils was in 1985 in an arena in Melbourne, after the Species Deceases EP came out. The concert started with all the band except Peter onstage, playing Progress. He was singing away, but not there. Eventually we spotted him in the stands, running down the aisles and down to the stage. It's the only time I've seen him use a cordless mike. They played all of the Species songs during the concert, and Blossom and Blood was fantastic- I wish they played it still. Another highlight was Outside World, with Rob up about 50 feet above the stage, on a smaller drum kit, in a white spotlight. I guess I was hooked on their live shows from that day!</P>

<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;good set list, but am i the only one on this list who &quot;loves blossom and
<DIV></DIV>&gt;blood&quot;? it's like the forgotten step child and the song kicks ass! i would
<DIV></DIV>&gt;kill to hear that song live. - and &quot;bus to bondi&quot;. they've played that in
<DIV></DIV>&gt;OZ, but never here - at least never at any of the shows i've ever been to.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;hint hint, oils if you're reading this.. for the jersey or boston shows!

<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Only problem I see is here is Rob needs the big kit for Only The Strong.
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Otherwise, this set list would not suck. I agree with E-Beat, but would
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; replace Lucky Country with No Time For Games. They can play it only in New
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Orleans if they want. That is where I will be
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Cheers

<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Here's what I'd hope for when they come NE (using the LA shows as a base to
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; work with)
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 1) Redneck
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 2) Dreamworld
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 3) Too Much Sunshine
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 4) My Country
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 5) Tone Poem
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; ----Rob Up Front
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 6) Short Memory
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 7) Lurjita Way
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 8) Only the Strong
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 9) Say Your Prayers
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; ----Rob back on the set
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 10) Kosciusko / Read About It
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 11) Golden Age
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 12) One Country
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 13) Warakurna / King of the Mountain
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 14) Hercules
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; -- ENCORE
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 15) Last of the Diggers
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 16) Capricornia / Mosquito March / Stand Your Ground
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 17) Power and the Passion
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; -- 2X Encore
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 18) Forgotten Years
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; 19) Lucky Country
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Notable drops:
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Beds, Dead Heart (aka True Country), Blue Sky Mining (aka Who's Gonna Shave
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Me?), Truganini
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Wish I could add more from Redneck, Head Injuries, and maybe a track from
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Breathe too.. Bring on the Change / E-Beat? But we need 4-5 new songs 1-2
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; from Real Thing, a bunch of historic anthems, and a few well selected gems
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; from the past that work well with the times.
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; This gives Bones and Rob an opportunity to show of their great voices too!
