<P>Yes I made it to Homebake, but quite late - (bugger).&nbsp;</P>
<P>Dreamworld was very good, I saw a few heads start to bob around and the odd hand went up PG style. My mates around me knew I would go home happy having heard that, which brings me to the point - yes, why havent the oils played homebake? Perhaps they want to leave it to the younger bands, although the Hoodoo Gurus are no spring chickens : )</P>
<P>The Hoodoo Gurus were awesome however, it was amazing to see thousands of people singing the words of many of their classics in unison.</P>
<P>Alex Lloyd was cool too - the kids loved it, although it was strange to see him without his guitar (he had a broken arm!)</P>
<P>Other personal highlights were Kasey Chambers, and I would have loved to have been there early enough too see Skunkhour doing their final show</P>
<P>Merry Christmas everyone</P>

<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Just wondering......did any Sydney workers attend the Homebake rock festival
<DIV></DIV>&gt;last week ?
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Something for Kate performed their cover of Dreamworld and it was probably
<DIV></DIV>&gt;the highlight of their set.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;The Hoodoo Gurus played their last ever gig and ripped through their setlist
<DIV></DIV>&gt;which was just full of classics. It was quite interesting (and amusing) to
<DIV></DIV>&gt;see young teenagers really getting into the Gurus, considering a lot of
<DIV></DIV>&gt;their songs were written before they were even born !!!
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;It got me thinking....i'd love to see the Oils play at Homebake, being an
<DIV></DIV>&gt;all ages festival, they would be playing to a whole new range of potential
<DIV></DIV>&gt;young fans.
