I understand that there is a fee for groups.io. I would be happy to contribute to a fund to help underwrite the effort if Tim’s offer to host is not viable.

I'm glad you've all chosen Groups.io
I've migrated several small groups across to them (local Judo club etc) and they're a great alternative.
