Makes sense- the band is now scattered a bit, and if Pete has written new songs of his own that he wants to put out there, why not do it this way? Jim and Rob have done solo efforts as well, and somehow I feel the Oils will get back together before the end of the decade (or by the next one?)- that it will it least fall into place when its meant to.
