This, and other films (& soundtracks) of the genre & period (5 Summer Stories, Morning of the Earth, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Endless Summer, Innermost Limits... , etc., etc.), were integral to the formative years of Midnight Oil.
This pretty much defined the '70's for a lot of Australians & Americans (especially if you were growing up &/or performing on the Northern Beaches of Sydney - or travelling up & down the east coast playing surf club & scout halls).
