That
is a very dedicated trip to Australia. Burra for the D&D cottage and
Newcastle for the MOMO expo. Well done. If you had another spare week you
could have drove a bit further north to check out Warakurna and Yuendumu.
I actually drove through Burra In 1993 6 years after D&D was released
and never saw the cottage. I didn’t know it was there at that stage
actually. Will have to do it another time.
Yes
the Oils live CD set is still being seeded at Yeeshkul.com as Chris has
stated. I would just like to add a bit more info. The version of the
10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 torrent does not have a live version of Maralinga on
it. One has since surfaced which is a good version. Happy to send it
to you if you want it. Coincidently the rarely played Bakerman also made
an appearance at the same gig. (Glad Reed in fine form on the
trombone.)
Lastly
the three peat of gigs at the Mercury Lounge in NYC in 1997 are also being
seeded at Yeeshkul.com by me. The web site states there are no seeders and
only 1 leacher. Basically if you connect to the swarm and download it it
will work (as long as I am on line) as when it was seeded for me by someone else
the torrent crashed after 99.9% (Bradman) of upload. The 0.1% which didn’t
load was a very small part of the artwork. The music is complete. So
I will leave my computer on for a few days if anyone wants it.

Well, I pulled out my
OilsLive project today. Originally we traded these as CDs, and mine are actually
starting to deteriorate. Several are now unplayable and I can see the foil
losing integrity. Because of that I am trying to track down these discs
again. I couldn’t find any torrents – does anyone know of any? Or is a kind soul
willing to share?

PS. just
got back to the states after a trip to Australia where I drove out to Burra and
saw the homestead on the cover of Diesel and Dust. That was a fun trip. Enjoyed
the museum at Newcastle as well.
