Yeah it was Robert, it still make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I crank it up and relive that night :-)  The gig was broadcast on German radio I think.  I have the recording on a CD, if you are interested drop me a line off list.

I was also at The Forum in 96, as well as several other shows in London between 1993 and 1997, and several in the States in between 2001 and 2002.  The Vogue in Indianapolis being, sadly, the last time I saw them.  Was the Forum show in 96 when they played the slowed down version of Dead Heart?

I remember seeing this Jools Holland episode and being completely blown away.  Can't quite remember if this was aired before my first oils live experience at the Astoria Theater on April 29, 1993 or soon after.

I rarely post, but always read the digest . I cannot express how much the Oils, their  music and 

keeping tuned in on Powderworks has meant to me. In 1980 my sister, who  emigrated to Melbourne,

sent me a vinyl of "10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1" and my musical horizons where forever changed. The 

last times I saw the Oils were 3 shows in 3 days in 2011 (NJ,NY and Boston). This on the heals of 9/11,

effected me profoundly.

Thanks to all the Powderworkers for their participation and keeping the Midnight Oil burning. I have a 

hoodie that I stitched the P-Workers tshirt (2-Sticks) logos to. I wear it with pride and love when people ask,

"What's that about?"
