I saw them in September 1993 in St. Louis at a radio station festival. The Hothouse Flowers were second-billed since the Oils and them did it as part of their '93 tour. Hothouse Flowers were good, but I was so excited to see the Oils (it was first concert of theirs) that it was hard to pay attention. I didn't realize that I wouldn't see them again for eight years!
