Great to dream Stephen, their music is great.

I did my written review of the expo on my way home in the train.  Just need to get it in a word document to get it out to the group.  Also took 220 photos.  Will have to work out how to get all those out without blowing download limits.  Sadly video was not permitted at the expo but I did do a Midnight Oil tour of Sydney before the expo and after it. Have had a big day. What that entails I will let you all wonder.  I have to edit my video and upload it and then you can all see it. Nothing fancy just something I thought of spur of the moment.  With 2 young kids this will take a few days so please be patient and it will be out there ASAP.

BRUCE, some bad news, nothing there on TANELORN my friend.  We will have to wait for a later date for that one.

Cheers,

SK

Thanks Simon.

I listened to my copy of it today. I'd pay a small fortune or even consider selling the house to hear all their demos and out-takes. There must be close to 100 assuming each album had about 10 discarded tracks plus all their mid 70s stuff.

I'll keep dreaming.

Stephen,  It was a photo of his kids wearing 2 sets of headphones which the song was being played through.  It must be an old song because the label next to the headphones said it was a jam session from swampy moose which was the band’s name before FARM.

Regards,

Apologies for more pics of my kids but hear they are listening to "Ghosts of the Roadhouse". That's how they incorporated this song demo into the exhibit!

Cheers

One question. It was said that a new song was being used at the ‎exhibition. It was Ghost something. I'm assuming it's the demo track Ghost that's been floating around for years.

How are they incorporating it in the exhibition?

Sure did. Loads of t shirts from many eras. Plus CDs and the black rain falls DVD. Hats too.

Cheers

Checked out the exhibit at manly this morn. Incredible! Relived my youth (and beyond) thru posters venues t shirts ticket stubs etc. Well worth it. My kids loved it as well - grooving to the music and loving the mocked up Antler room. Thought I might bump into some familiar faces! And we did.

I'll be back for another visit soon.
