For my 2 cents, Jim played a black Gretsch Roc Jet a lot and for long time which often got mistaken for a Les Paul. He plays a few Gretschs and has 68 Paisley Tele which got used on Diesel.

Anyone have much detail on the Oils' gear?

I know Martin played a '63 Strat for the longest time.  Was that basically off-the-rack?  Jim played a bunch of Gibsons, as I recall.  I also seem to recall Marshall stacks.  Anyone know what was on their pedal boards?
