Just decided to Google it myself. A music festival up near Newcastle in 1981. Saw the following you tube clip and it fair dinkum looks like the Aussie equivalent of WOODSTOCK. I would have been in high school but only just.

I will be on holidays and hope to go to day 1 of exhibition on 20/6/14. Hopefully it wont be invite only or vip only. Forgive my ignorance but what is Tanelon?? Is it a t own somewhere or a seedy old pub in the back streets of Surry Hills? Sounds like it would have been a blast. Pity I would have been in primary school at the time.

Not sure if this is old news, but the exhibition looks like it's going to have some cool films (10-1 doco & Tanerlorn film of sorts), not to mention some "early pub Oils" type experience:
Anybody heard any more? Just think of the possible displays: Martin's strat? Rob's Ludwig? Andrew James or Giffo in a glass case Phar Lap style? The mind boggles.
