They're not a one-hit wonder in the US; they're a niche act.  They have some really awesome fans, and then there are a bunch of people for whom they are kind of on the radar. They'll sell out a tour of 2000-seat venues, but they won't sell out the Super Dome.

FWIW – I saw MO in Raleigh, NC, in the Southeastern US, for the ESM tour with Hothouse Flowers and Ziggy Marley in an outdoor shed amphitheater and it was packed.  They had a really good draw for a “one-hit” album from several years (and albums) before.

That would be interesting.... Oils being offered a 'lot of money' to do a tour in a country that (generally) sees them as being a one-hit wonder (Beds) AND they did their last tour at real grass-roots level, on Liquid 8 Records, after their album was 'passed' by columbia / Sony US.
