Midnight Oil

Hi david, Thanks for reading the review. Would you be able to cut and copy your response under the comments section under the blog post? That would be great, then it adds to the discussion!
Cheers Michelle

I was at the Adelaide gig last year (the third time I've seen them - all after they broke up!) and the review is pretty much spot on, though my recollection is they played a few more album tracks (I reckon Letter to Alan was in there for example). They did take a while to kick in at the Adelaide gig too.

Here's a tiny bit of MO content - I wore the t-shirt featuring PG's head with the rest of the band reflected in his sunnies (one of the few times I've been able to wear it as I attended the gig by myself- my partner finds it too scarey. Go figure.) Anyway, one of the blokes on the doors took one look at it and said "He should've stuck to music!"

Cheers,
David

I remember a video for Sometimes around 1992 that was a compilation of performances.  The one image I remember from it was of an
outdoor concert where Garrett had steam coming off his head.  Always wanted to find this video but I've never seen it since.

There was/is a clip – a mish mash of bits from many other performances over many years. Only recall seeing it once or twice when it was first released.

Bits from Capitol Theatre, Blue Sky clip from memory…

Hello,

Midnight Oil released in 1992 Beds Are Burning (Live). Was there a music video clip for this? They did have a music video clip for the single Sometimes (Live) released in 1992. I'm pretty sure I saw one back then on Australia MTV with Richard Wilkins hosting it? It seems impossible to find.
