Alex C:

Barack Obama is unquestionably skilled in the art of political speeches (and conciliatory rhetoric) but unfortunately his words are betrayed by the actions of his administration.

- The tide of war is not receding as Obama claims, quite the opposite. The U.S. is expanding its military presence and military operations globally.

- China and Russia are clearly being gradually militarily encircled through the expansion/militarisation of strategic alliances, multi-layered missile architecture and military bases (U.S. push to expand and establish permanent military bases in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Asia Pacific regions) despite claims that deny this situation.

U.S. military actions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, covert (military and intelligence) operations in over 175 countries, over 1000 (and expanding) foreign military bases / operational stations, the impending war against Iran (which is likely to result in a regional war), escalating tensions with North Korea (and operational plan USOPLAN 5029 for the denuclearisation of N Korea), the U.S. militarisation of Taiwan, U.S. militarisation of strategic alliances in the Asia Pacific region against China, the militarisation of the Arctic region, U.S./NATO expansion around Russia, leaked documents revealing NATO preparations and operational plans for war against Russia, the phenomenon of globally expanding militarism occurring in conjunction with a so-called 'war on terror', the militarisation of foreign political engineering efforts ('regime change' operations), the militarisation of competition over foreign resources /assets /markets, pipeline projects/ routes, strategic enhancement through the global expansion of military bases /operations/ military interoperability capabilities of expanding alliances, the pursuit of nuclear primacy (multi-layered missile architecture allowing first strike capabilities in the event of war able to destroy surviving retaliatory missiles), the deployment of Patriot (and planned SM3) missile systems / troops / fighter jets to Poland, agreements to deploy troops and SM3 missile architecture to Romania and Bulgaria, the stationing of U.S. F-15 Eagle fighter jets at the Siauliai Air Base in Lithuania, increased military exercises around Russia (BALTOPS, Jackal Stone, Cold Response, Operation Nanook, Yudh Abhyas, Steppe Eagle, Thracian Fall, Northern Coasts /Baltic Sea) and plans for regime change in Iran, Syria, Lebanon, North Korea, Sudan, Algeria, Eritrea, Zimbabwe, Myanmar, Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Belarus and even Russia (through covert support of opposition groups, being countries that are not aligned with U.S. interests), can be defined using different terminology but unfortunately many won't understand this until it reaches its conclusion.
