He is learning to read the music, and is also learning songs by listening along on his iPod as he plays (the learning method recommended to me by Mr Hirst last month).  I just thought that having the transcriptions might be the best of both worlds...  Also something he can take to his teacher and say "I want to learn this one".

And, does he want to?
Just as easy to listen to the song, or if you have to, watch a live video version.

g'day all
 
my son has started playing drums which may sound like a nightmare but given my extensive guitar collection is actually pretty cool!  (We played our first song together the other night - Short Memory)
 
Now I remember many years ago seeing a book of drum music for a number of Oils songs, called "Oil Drums".  What I'm wondering is whether anyone has any idea where I might be able to get one these days?  Or if anyone has one they no longer need?
