Howdy

Saw the Break the other night at Miami Tavern - possibly the dodgiest venue to see a band, anywhere, anytime.

But in the end, very small venue and a small but enthusiastic crowd. Not a bad spot in the room really.

The band played well, playing all of the usual suspects.

A much looser show than last time they were up here with Hoodoo Gurus - much more jamming, more soloing. All good stuff. Brian a good MC through the evening - and love his bass playing.

Massacres was a favourite, Mystics got a run (apparently for the first time) as well as Birdman.  Eye contact in a slightly shortened form, Wedding Cake and usual others. Seemed similar to the bootleg circulated earlier in the year.

Hand shakes and chats after the show and finally, finally completed the autographs on my Scream in Blue interview disc (except for Giffo - but my wife might soon need a very small bikini...).

Strangely, Rob wrote something resembling a small essay on the back of the cover detailing the show, oils/break band names, year, who the signature was for...then looking at it later after leaving - he didn't actually autograph it!!

Aaargh - the wait continues!

BTW - any Break tabs/chords people have worked out? Have had a go at a couple, but nothing amazing.

Cheers

Kev
