this is a prime example of peoples' tendency to shirk their own responsibility and push it onto others.  Mr. Garrett is only one man, working within the law and the duties of his office, trying to carry an agenda of massive reform against an entire establishment.  rather than place the burden at Pete's feet, why dont all the "disillusioned" folks elect other like-minded people into office that can forward this agenda?   

at least you have hope in Oz, here in the US we dont have a single politician at the Federal level with Pete's integrity and vision.
