Midnight Oil

i heard the interviews on the radio and it seems that Rob made a tongue slip which in a later interview he tried to reverse. but i say "so effin what?". this type of wheeling and dealing happens all the time and behind close doors. so at least this is in the open. i just wish Rob was more discreet as i think he put Pete in a counter productive position. however considering our previous PM squandered tax payers money to give one of the greediest selfish Peckers i have seen a state funeral because he was his mate, i hope PG does the right thing

which raises the following question: if they can build the piping infrastructure to carry oil from PNG to QLD and for "processing hub where future resource developments could be concentrated" why the hell cant they build one to carry water from northern QLD and northern NSW to the Murray? maybe this way Australia will be able to boast a "biggest" something which is actually worthwhile.

How could people get so unkind?

Howdy,

Heard about this at work the other day, so went looking.

Apologies if it's already been posted.

Dear Powdies

PG on Antarctica:

Also, he wants to see 400,000 hectares specifically added to the "Caring for our Country" program, 5,000, 000 hectares added to the National Reserve system, and connectivity and corridors for species to use under stress from climate change! (I sure wish he REALLY cared, rather than being a sell-out.)
