sorry people,
second time in 4 days, sent an email to the whole list...
I can only plead exhaustion, flatness, very sore throat & general disorientation after being back at uni & having to read a lot, after three totally Oils oriented days. The whole thing was amazing & s for Sound relief I had no idea so many people liked the Oils, let alone knew so many words! It was amazing & a blessed relief after being surrounded earlier in the day by incredibly hystercial Bliss'n'Eso fans who shouted 'wwweee lloovvvvvee yoooooooo tooooo' every time the band said they loved everyone.Gggrrrr
Canberra was sensational, saw so many people I hadn't seen since Manly & Waveaid & just had a blast the whole time. The feeling is one you only get when you're with huge amounts of people that all share your wholehearted appreciation for something, in this case, 5 blokes who when they get together, just make sheer magic happen.
I like the Backsliders, the Ghosties, the Family Dog, not sure about the Angry Tradesmen, am happy the ALP got in, but the Oils-well they just take the cake. I've been into them since I was 13 & now at 36, am still as enthusiastic as when they sucked me in seeing them on the telly playing 'Only the Strong' on Oils on the Water. Taking my son to see them was a dream I thought would never happen & now it has. For all of that, I am one happy lady.
