The Screaming Jets aren't exactly significant these days so it is unlikely
they would have ever been considered anyway.
They have no lasting legacy
like many of the old bands that are playing such as Split Enz, The Oils, Hunters
etc.
Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Somewhat OT - Jets
Presumably the bands who are actually playing have been able to put
aside their personal feelings and focus on those of the people for whose
benefit this concert is intended-
the people who have lost all their belongings, their homes, their
towns, who still have burns, who nearly all had to drive through fire to
survive, who have lost friends, neighbours and families.
Shame the Jets forgot why this gig is actually happening.

Another reason the Screaming Jets are playing
the MCG is that no one asked them !
Cheers

So I went along to see The Screaming Jets last Friday...man
did Dave ever give it to Pete. Caled him all the lying so and
so's under the sun, particularly with the Pulp Mill. He said
it's one of the reasons they're not playing the MCG.
