I know there has been heaps of talk about the gigs etc etc but I thought I would add this that I heard on Vega FM this morning :
Peter Garrett stated that as of today the band had not actually met up due to work committments but they are planning to meet up this weekend to work out the appropriate songs to play and to see if they can get the band " cooking ". They are using the Canberra shows to iron out any cobwebs and he is over the moon to be giving a go.
Not sure if this will be of interest to anyone but it gives a bit of interesting information leading up.
I''ll be there for the Thursday gig - great week though, U2 album out, Icehouse and the Oils reforming...does not get much better than that.
