I always considered that version as Pete's answer to Pink Floyd's 'The Great Gig In The Sky' :-)

The Eye Contact Pt2 I was referring to was the second part of the song
Eye Contact that is on one of the Head Injuries demos and of which
only the slow, brooding Pt2 is played live on the 1980 Royal Antler
and Stagedoor bootlegs. (The song that increases in tempo, building
to a great Rotsey solo with Pete's cathartic screaming over the top.)
I have no idea if it's the same song on the Real Thing B-side as
I've never heard that release. Are these songs one and the same?
Where can I find a copy?

The 1979/80 Eye Contact, in its entirety, I always really enjoyed and
is the sort of thing I had hoped may have surfaced on a re-issued,
re-mastered, expanded double CD/DVD re-release of Head Injuries along
with extensive insightful liner notes from Hirst, a booklet of
supplementary artwork, other demos and one of the blistering live sets
  from that era.

Anyway, its the least the band could do - they owe me and the rest of
  us that much...
