Dear Powdies

Anyone have any ideas/hear anything on what's going on behind the scenes
in federal cabinet?  On the ABC's "7.30 Report" last night "Clarke and
Dawe" caricatured PM Rudd as having no ideas about the environment,
despite promising much (and signing Kyoto first up this year).  The
"interviewer" claimed that the Rudd Govt couldn't even get its plastic
bag program through.  That said, the Gunns pulp mill appears to have
been pulped, perhaps with the help of some bureaucratic checkmates and
balances by PGa (or is that wishful thinking, Endurance Dancer?)

The last I heard was that PG and others are deferring to Mr Rudd on
everything, as if they can't decide anything without his nod.
