Hey, another person on this list older than me! ha ha - Beth (Just turned 49 on Pete's birthday, April 16, and not at all happy about it. Was forced to buy tix to see Mark Knopfler in order to counteract deep depression caused by verbal abuse from ill-mannered offspring, husband, and sisters)

What is the best outdoor Oils show you saw?

The first time I saw the Oils was on a beautiful southern California evening around the first day of
summer, 1990, at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater.? Hunters & Collectors opened the show, and
although they were barely known in the States ("When The River Runs Dry" was getting some
airplay on our alternative radio station), they turned out to be one of the best support acts I've ever seen.?
Then the Oils came out and played just a fantastic set.??To this day one of?my?top five concerts I've
ever seen?(and I've seen a few over my 54 years).?
