[The Oilman]

Well, if a promo single exists, that does mean that it was intended to be a
single.Drums of Heaven was a single in the US but never got played! It
wasn't until Truganini came out that ESM got airplay in the US. It took a
long time before I found out the DoH was indeed the first US single off the
album.

If its a promo single made for the radio station, that in itself means that
its a single. There are far more labels producing these for radio stations
for single releases than the ones producing actual singles for purchase
(like old 45's were).

Don't Wanna Be the One was definitely a single, and there is a live video
for it that Rage shows so often it may indeed be all they used as the video
clips, remember in 1981 in Australia the MTV ideology wasn't in effect yet.

Truganini was indeed the single, heck there are 2 full fledge videos for
that one! :)

Can't really base much on videos as the Oils has always tried not to do them
anyway (probably why a lot of early tunes don't have them) although they
ended up making some true classics around the Diesel era.

This would be a whole lot clearer if we were still back in the age of the 45
when singles were release always in this fashion with a "B-side"!!
